Hi there! I’m Katerina, and I’m honored to be president of our 2024 Global Scholars! As a member of both Model UN and WorldQuest, I’m interested in all things global, and love the connections and opportunities provided by the Global Scholars program. In my free time, I live to settle down with a good book, cuddle with my lovely (and crazy) German Shepherd, tend to my plants (if I remember them), and maybe, just maybe, do some writing. I’m looking forward to participating in the 2023 Madagascar trip in the coming year!

Hi, my name is Jaden Young! I am doing the humanities pathway and I love all things history. I was just in Spain, my first time out of the country and my experience from Global Scholars was an amazing tool in helping me travel to a new country. I’m in student senate, EAAA, and I love all things outdoors. Global Scholars is a fantastic way to get involved at Edina and around the globe and I’m so excited to share my project with everyone.

Hello! I'm a current sophomore interested in the physical sciences and their practical applications in making our daily lives better. Outside of academics, I play Ultimate Frisbee with the school teams and game quite a bit as well. Honored to represent EHS as concertmaster of Varsity Orchestra and now as a Global Scholar!

My name is Sarah and I really enjoy photography, skiing, and reading. Hopefully I can become a Ski Patroller soon as I am already certified for Outdoor Emergency Transportation. I like helping and meeting new people. The Global Scholars Program has given me many opportunities to improve myself and I hope to gain more knowledge on all the different cultures!

Hi, I'm Venna Wiandt and a junior at EHS! I am looking forward to becoming a global citizen in the future and this is the perfect first step. I have been apart of Edina Volleyball and am currently the assistant captain and business lead on the schools robotics team. I also love to crochet, go on hikes, and travel with my family.
